Informatica, Tibco Say WebSockets A Winner
A technology that boosts interactive browser applications has companies like Informatica and Tibco getting a new class of richer, Web-based products ready for customers. The forthcoming HTML5 -- a technical standard for presenting content on the Web -- includes a technology called WebSockets, which lets a computer maintain an uninterrupted connection with a server to exchange data continuously. That will enable faster, more fluid Web applications
