Dell Tries Again To Make Deal In Data Storage

With potential dance partners dwindling in the data storage business, Dell is tangoing with Compellent Technologies, one of the players still available after a recent flurry of M&A deals. Dell (DELL) said Thursday it's in advanced talks with Compellent (CML) about a possible merger. Dell has offered to buy Compellent for $27.50 a share, or about $876 million.
