U.S. Online Sales Picking Up Pace As Holiday Nears

It's ho, ho, ho for online sellers, as the pace of buying has picked up late in a holiday shopping season already far exceeding last year. ComScore on Wednesday said U.S. online sales from Nov. 1 through Sunday rose 12% compared with the year-earlier period. For the week ended Sunday, it says year-over-year sales rose 14%.
