Microsoft's Kinect Helps Q2 Beat Views

Microsoft surprised Wall Street late Thursday with much-stronger-than-expected gains in sales and profit last quarter, thanks to its Xbox and Office businesses. Microsoft (MSFT) earned 77 cents a share, up 4% from a year ago, on sales of $19.95 billion, up 5%, for its fiscal Q2 ended Dec. 31.
